The ancient Hebrew scripts on this site are typefaces, each modeled on a specific archaeological inscription. They're free software, and here's where they came from.

All five are by Yoram Gnat, released through the Culmus project. Each is modeled on a specific inscription.

As a special exception, if you create a document which uses this fonts, and embed this fonts or unaltered portions of this fonts into the document, this fonts do not by themself cause the resulting document to be covered by the GNU General Public License.

We serve these typefaces unmodified. If that ever changes, the modified versions and their license will be made available here.
